Smoked Salmon and Corn Chowder
Ingredients
- 1 Tablespoon Chives
1/2 cup Idahoan Baby Red Skins Instant Mashed Potatoes
1/2 teaspoon Parsley, dried
1/4 teaspoon Thyme, ground
1/3 cup Nido whole milk
1/2 teaspoon Lemon pepper
1/4 teaspoon Dill weed
3/4 teaspoon Smoked Sea Salt Flakes
1/2 cup Provident Pantry Super Sweet Corn, freeze dried
3/4 cup Provident Pantry Salmon Uncooked, freeze dried
Directions
At Home:
Place in a small plastic bag the chives, potato flakes, parsley, thyme, milk powder, lemon pepper, dill weed, salt and close with a knot. In a quart ziplock freezer bag, combine the smoked salt, corn, salmon and a copy of the "At Camp" instructions with the sealed bag of potato flakes.
Package Weight: 5 oz.
At Camp:
Put 2-3/4 cups of water in a medium pot. Add the bag of corn and salmon. Cover; bring to a boil. Shut off the heat and add the bag of dry ingredients. Stir for a few moments. Allow to finish cooking in a insulated cozy. Add more water if necessary to reach the desired consistency.
